    Beg to differ, had a security cam to watch mushroom grow, but after a few days it all died. My guess is that although the IR from the cams may not be powerful enough but radiating a plant 24×7 may cause it to stress out. I do not have scientific proof on this, just sharing my experience.

      Hi Ivan, thank you for sharing your experience with us! You may place the security camera a little bit farther from the mushroom. And when there is sufficient light in the growing room, you may disable the IR light to keep the mushroom from being radiated. Hope this helps.

      There are a lot variables in growing mushrooms, to assume it was SOLELY the IR is not scientifically backed at all.
