Reolink E1 Series

The Reolink E1 Series is a line of smart indoor (and select outdoor) security cameras designed to provide flexible home and small business monitoring with a single device.

Shaped like dome cameras, E1 cameras are best known for their pan-and-tilt functionality. Many models in the series also include HD to 4K resolution options, smart motion detection (person, pet, and sometimes crying detection), night vision, and two-way audio for real-time communication.

The main difference between the Reolink E1 and E1 Pro is video resolution and WiFi support. The E1 offers 4MP resolution, while the E1 Pro delivers a sharper 5MP image. In addition, the E1 supports only 2.4GHz WiFi, whereas the E1 Pro is compatible with both 2.4GHz and 5GHz dual-band WiFi for a more stable connection.

The Reolink E1 is a wireless camera in terms of network connectivity, as it connects to your system over WiFi. However, it still requires a constant power source and must be plugged into a DC power outlet to operate.
