HONG KONG, November 8, 2019 – Reolink, the global innovator in smart home security and camera solutions, rolled out a new 5MP wireless PTZ home camera, E1 Zoom. It boasts 355° field of view, 5MP high-definition video quality, and Smart-Home integration, offering all-round, high-quality, and affordable smart home security.

Reolink E1 Zoom will be immediately available for purchase on its official website for $78.99 per unit.

In June, Reolink first unleashed its E1 series cameras, and E1, E1 Pro arrived. The biggest thing going for the two cameras is their full features, along with an incredibly affordable price, redefining the era of $100+ super HD security camera with panning and tilting. E1 and E1 Pro come with superior image and video clarity, outstanding night vision, reliable WiFi, full room coverage, super easy setup, etc.

Inheriting all these impressively smart features, the new model, E1 Zoom, upgrades the video resolution to sharper 5MP (2560×1920 pixels) and adds 3X optical zoom. It allows users to view small objects in incredible detail. Coming with a 355-degree panning and 50-degree tilting feature, Reolink E1 Zoom can quickly move and offer full room coverage.

”'Hard to believe this technology is so simple and affordable’; 'Awesome reliable WiFi cam’; 'Video quality is amazing and night vision is outstanding.’ We're more than happy to see these inspiring feedback from our E1 and E1 Pro users.” Said Colin Lau, Reolink's CEO. ”We're not surprised that the two cams are gaining public recognition cause we've put a lot of effort into them. It is gratifying that our hard work paid off. But we are keeping looking for ways we can improve and the best way is to upgrade them into a higher model. We appreciate every one of you sharing what you are experiencing with our new model.”

The impressive features of E1 Zoom 5MP PTZ WiFi smart security camera include:

  • 355° pan, 50° tilt, 3X optical zoom: cover the entire room. See near, far and everything in between without image impairment.

No it does not clarify. That is not what I asked. When I tell google to show the camera the E1 Pro camera displays jerky pixelated 240i low res image. I assume the E1 Zoom google integration is just as unusable as are all your other cameras. I noticed how you cleverly avoided answering my question, but not surprised that you do not advertise this.

Hi Peter, I am sorry that I have got you wrong earlier. Currently, our security cameras that work with Google Assistant only display sub-stream videos on Google Home Hub and Chromecast. Both E1 Pro and E1 Zoom will display videos in 640*480 resolution when you tell Google to show the camera. Hope this clarifies.

That does clarify. The Google Assistant integration is still unusable rubbish. When is this going to be fixed?

          • Peter Xander says:

The jerky low res picture renders that function useless. Until that is fixed, stating the camera has Google Assistant integration is a lie. People might buy the camera hoping to use it via Google and find they cannot, like what happened to me. Cameras of other manufacturers display HD picture to Google voice commands. I had to return Reolink and buy D-Link camera. Very time consuming and annoying process! When is this going to be fixed?

Thank you for sharing the feedback with us, Peter. We will forward your ideas to our R&D team and see if we can improve it later. If there are any updates, we will let you know.
