Reolink TrackMix cameras combine dual-lens viewing with auto tracking, allowing you to follow moving people, vehicles, or animals while seeing both the wider scene and close-up details. With Battery, Wi-Fi, PoE, and LTE options, the series can cover different UK properties—from terraced and suburban homes to driveways, gardens, and remote locations without Wi-Fi. Reolink

Dual Views for Driveways and Entrances

The wide-angle and telephoto lenses work together to show the full scene and a close-up view of the tracked target at the same time. This is particularly useful for UK driveways and front entrances, where you may want to see both where a visitor or vehicle is moving and closer details without manually zooming. Reolink

Auto Tracking for Gardens and Larger Outdoor Areas

With pan, tilt, and automatic tracking, TrackMix cameras can follow moving targets across a wider area instead of monitoring only one fixed direction. This makes them suitable for back gardens, side passages, larger driveways, and other areas where people or animals may move across the property. Reolink

Clear Monitoring During Darker Hours

TrackMix models combine high-resolution video with infrared and colour night vision, helping capture useful details after dark. This is practical for monitoring entrances, parked cars, gardens, and other outdoor areas during longer UK winter nights. Reolink

Flexible Options for Different UK Properties

The TrackMix Series offers different connection and power options for different installations. Battery and solar models suit areas where running cables is difficult, Wi-Fi models fit homes with reliable wireless coverage, PoE models are better for stable wired and 24/7 monitoring, while LTE models can monitor allotments, farms, construction sites, or other locations without Wi-Fi.

What are the main features of Reolink TrackMix cameras?

Reolink TrackMix cameras stand out for their dual-lens tracking system. The wide-angle lens keeps the full scene in view, while the telephoto lens provides a close-up of the same moving person, vehicle, or animal. With auto-zoom tracking, the close-up view automatically follows the detected target and adjusts the zoom as it moves.

TrackMix cameras also support 6X hybrid zoom, combining the two lens views to provide a closer look at distant targets.

How does the LTE and solar options improve the Reolink TrackMix camera performance?

LTE connectivity allows Reolink TrackMix cameras to operate in locations without Wi-Fi or Ethernet by using a SIM card and 4G mobile network for remote viewing and alerts.

Solar power helps keep battery-powered models charged without a nearby power outlet, reducing the need for manual recharging. Together, they make TrackMix suitable for remote locations such as farms, construction sites, allotments, and detached buildings where both fixed internet and mains power may be unavailable.

How long can the Battery version work in rainy weather? Does the LTE version need a SIM card?

The Battery version lasts longer in dry conditions; for rainy weather, we recommend the PoE or Wi-Fi models for extended power and connectivity. The LTE version requires a SIM card for 4G connection.

Which model is compatible with the Reolink Home Hub Pro?

The Wi-Fi version is compatible with the Reolink Home Hub Pro. We recommend pairing it with the TrackMix Wi-Fi for optimal performance. (Link to Home Hub Pro Product)

How does Reolink TrackMix series work?

Auto-Tracking Modes:

Pan/Tilt Tracking First: The camera prioritizes physical movement, panning and tilting to keep the subject centered in the wide-angle view.

Digital Tracking First: It uses the telephoto zoom to follow the target initially, then switches to pan/tilt tracking once the subject reaches the edge of the frame.

Digital Tracking: The camera remains stationary and tracks the subject using digital zoom only, without any pan or tilt movement.

Installation & Recording Options:

Connectivity: Depending on the model, setup options include Wi-Fi, PoE (Power over Ethernet), or 4G LTE.

Storage: Footage can be stored locally on a microSD card (up to 512GB) or recorded to a Reolink NVR for extended storage and management.

Does the PoE version require professional installation? What are the network requirements for the Wi-Fi version?

The PoE version may require professional installation for optimal cable management. The Wi-Fi version requires a stable internet connection with a router that supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi.

Does Reolink TrackMix series have AI?

The Reolink Trackmix does not come in special “AI versions.” Instead, it includes built-in smart detection features that are standard across current Reolink cameras.

It supports AI-based smart detection, allowing you to distinguish between people, vehicles, and animals, and you can adjust motion sensitivity for each type. It also includes other smart features that help fine-tune alerts and reduce false alarms, depending on how you set it up.

How long does a Reolink TrackMix battery last?

The Reolink TrackMix LTE Plus is equipped with a 14,400mAh battery. When fully charged, it offers flexible usage depending on the operating mode:

In standby mode, the battery can last for approximately one year.

In Standard Mode, it supports up to around 48 hours of continuous recording.

In Smart Battery Mode, it can extend recording time to about 72 hours.

Where should you place Trackmix series?

Driveway / Front Garden: Position a TrackMix camera to cover the driveway, front garden, and approach to the house. Its wide view and auto tracking help follow visitors and vehicles as they move towards the property. For homes with Ethernet cabling, Reolink TrackMix PoE is particularly suitable here, providing a stable wired connection for continuous monitoring.

Side Passage / Side Gate: Many UK terraced, semi-detached, and detached homes have narrow side passages or gates leading to the rear garden. Placing a TrackMix here helps monitor movement between the front and back of the property, while auto tracking can follow someone moving through the passage.

Garage / Off-Street Parking: Install the camera around a garage, carport, or off-street parking area to monitor parked vehicles, garage doors, and people approaching the property. The wide-angle and telephoto views help capture both the overall area and closer details of moving people or vehicles.

Rear Garden: A TrackMix camera can cover patios, sheds, rear gates, and other access points around the garden. Auto tracking is particularly useful for larger gardens, where people or animals may move across a wider area instead of staying within one fixed camera view.

Can I use Reolink TrackMix cameras with different connectivity options like WiFi and LTE?

options like WiFi and LTE?
Yes, but Wi-Fi and LTE are different TrackMix models rather than two connection modes you can switch between on the same camera. TrackMix WiFi connects to a 2.4/5 GHz Wi-Fi network, while TrackMix LTE uses a SIM card and 4G network and does not support Wi-Fi.

This lets you choose the model based on the installation location—for example, TrackMix WiFi for homes with reliable Wi-Fi coverage and TrackMix LTE for farms, allotments, construction sites, or other locations without Wi-Fi.
